Learn to Play Mrdunga in Just 4 Weeks!!!
Everyone should learn to do Kirtan because we are Lord Caitanya's Sankirtan
Movement! And the Mrdunga is the heartbeat of the Kirtan!
Visvambhar, an international Kirtan leader and Mrdunga player will be offering
an intensive 4 week Mrdunga Workshop. While traveling extensively with
Lokanath Maharaj for almost 5 years, Visvambhar developed a course in which the
student could learn all the basic beats and techniques of the Mrdunga in just 8
sessions. Whether you are a beginner or already know how to play
Mrdunga, you will benefit from this workshop. If you are a beginner, by
the end of the course you should be able to play basic Mrdunga beats in a
simple kirtan. If you already know how to play Mrdunga, this workshop
will serve to sharpen your skills, learn new techniques and increase your
awareness of Kirtan.

This Class is open to all on a first come first serve basis. The
fee is $8.00 per class and is payable in cash to the course instructor
at the time of the lesson.
Workshops are held at 2PM and 7PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
starting Febuary 5th through febuary 28. You may show up for any class
on any day as the the lessons are freeform and tailored to individuals.
A total of 8 workshops is recomemnded to get the full benefit of the
instruction. Registration is not necessary and is purely to show
interest in the workshops.
